Our guest, Suzanne Munson, is an author and historian. She left a career in corporate and nonprofit communications to write books several years ago. She has completed six so far, three published and three on the way.
Her first was a work of traditional history, a biography of an American Founding Father, signer of the Declaration of Independence George Wythe.
She broke new ground with the second book, in a new genre that she calls “metaphysical history.” Suzanne can be considered a bold pioneer in this new field, with her publication of “The Metaphysical Thomas Jefferson.” This work features Jefferson’s current views from his place in spirit on American government, foreign policy, media, use of the military, higher education, race relations, and religion. It’s a real eye opener.
After the death of her husband ten years ago, Suzanne found herself on two paths—writing traditional work, while at the same time exploring the metaphysical world. His death triggered an insatiable interest in the afterlife—what happens to our consciousness after we leave physical form.
Part of her journey began at a writers’ retreat, meeting a writer who wrote about her paranormal experiences in a book called “Friends in High Places.” The writer was also a medium, and Suzanne began to experiment with the afterlife by connecting with several well-respected, experienced mediums.
And the rest is history, so to speak.
